SAP ECC to SAP BW data transfer

Hi All,

There is data getting transfered from SAP ECC to SAP BW. In we02 we can see RSINFO and RSRQST. But these do not contain the finance data. But I believe SAP ECC uses RSRQST as a request to send the data to SAP ECC. Am I right in assuming this? Both systems are 7.4 version.

However I am unable to understand how is the getting transfered to SAP BW. I dont see any idocs in we02 or messages in SXMB_MONI. 

Please help me understand how the data flow happens, how to view the data flow is happening.

Hi

The idocs are just containing the administrative information about the requests, but not the actual data (at least not in case of transactional data, master data attributes and texts). In SAPI the data is processed in LUW-s from the tRFC queue (SM58).

But the above applies only if you are transferring the data via SAPI to BW via Infopackage. In case you are using ODP, there are no idocs, no tRFC queue. The whole processing is handled by the ODP framework.
