I am just getting started with the Datasphere catalogue and have 2 questions I hope you can help me with.
1. I am trying to define an approach to cataloguing with Datasphere but cannot find any real world examples on how best to apply it.
For example we would like to catalogue our SAC models for the end users and so we have ongoing governance and a central location for technical specs and updates for the developers side. Where should developers add their technical build details about SAC models? e.g. queries, loads, joins etc. Should this go in the SAC catalogue description or in the Description field under Datashpere catalogue? or do folks leave off the technical details and log these elsewhere if so what are you using to do this?
For us we would prefer keep all details in one place as more sustainable.
2. If I add descriptions to a model in SAC the info flows through into the Datasphere catalogue but not if I do it the other way round? why?
Also its the same for any tags, if I add them in either place they don't carry across?
