Hello experts,
Our clients have requested a rolling forecast setup that incorporates actual data, latest estimates, and next year's budget all within a single interface. To accommodate this, we've devised a solution where we duplicate actual data into the latest estimate section and assign the latest estimate and the annual budget plan as the two versions of the forecast layout.
Given the scale of our operations, we've opted against using a central managed cut-over date and version. However, we've hit a snag: the 'Last Booked' option isn't seemed to be working as we intended. Is there a way that we can use the 'Last Booked' option or something similar, so that we can make the cutover date of the layout to be dynamically picked based on the last booked values in the latest estimate version?
Any thoughts on resolving this issue or adjusting our approach to would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

(Bottom line: we would like to achieve the following result)
I think the forecast layout is not very flexible. The last book date I suppose only works with Actuals so it might not work with LE. Workarounds are copying LE into Budgets and just working of booked options but I can understand its very restrictive.
