SAC Planning Advanced Formula - Rolling 3 Months Summation

Hi All - I am wanting to create a data action that will calculate the rolling 3 months summation value.

In other words, a user will enter a date/month range, and then for each month of that range, a rolling 3 months value must be calculated (as per pic below).

I have successfully created formula measures (using the SMA function) and added to a story, but I am now needing to calculate and store the value in the model.  And unfortunately formula measures can't be referenced in the advanced formula.

I have tried using the FOREACH and PREVIOUS functions but am not getting the result right.

Can someone please assist with the required code?

    Have you tried to use copy step in data action to copy your formula measure with SMA to your base measure?
