Predictive Scenario Dataset Import to Existing Model

Hi All,

Currently I am exploring some functionalities of SMART Predict which is important for SAP to showcase this product as part of innovation to spearhead in the new era of Machine Learning. But there is still a lot of improvement need to be done.

Issue Summary:

There are missing option from the list of datasources during the import of data into a model. This option is available during model creation but not from the former.

Steps Reproducible:

Step 1: Apply a Predictive Model into a dataset

Step 2: Create a new Model using the dataset from Step 1

Step 3: Create a visualization in a story

Step 4: Trying to import a new dataset into Model in Step 2, no option available

Hope to hear any resolution or plan for this product improvement or any reason why it is not available.

Wouldn't you just re-run the model on new data? Or is it an issue that you would have to create a new story again?

Thanks for having this reply. First of all Happy New Year 2020 to you. Yup sure on the reason why I need to do that. I might have missed out another steps.

Step 1: Apply a Predictive Model into a dataset

Step 2: Create a new Model (planning enabled) using the dataset from Step 1

Step 3: Do any adjustment of the original forecast using planning in SAC

Step 4: Create a visualization in a story

Step 5: Trying to import a new dataset into Model in Step 2, no option available
