1. How to alter the "Default" Security Policy values back to original?
   1. You can manually change the values back to the native ones.
      The default / native values are listed at UME Properties for the Security Policy.

2. How to remove the "Password Change Required" flag:
   1. For all the users that are locked, you must unlock the users.
      1. For this, you can select all desired users
      2. Then click in "Unlock"
      3. You can find more details about this at 2464857 - How to unlock an user in a NetWeaver Java system
         
         
   2. How to untick the "Password Change Required" flag from the users?
      1. To untick the "Password Change Required", you can try to manually adjust as per the KBA 3279816 - How to untick "Password Change Required" option for user in AS JAVA system?
      2. If this does not work, then you would need the users to change their password.
         Or you could change the password of all affected users as described in 2774873 - How to change the password to many users at the same time
