How to convert reports that are in Crystal Reports for Enterprise to Crystal Reports 2020

SAP has stated that Crystal Reports for Enterprise will no longer be supported in BI2025. If we have reports that are built in Crystal Reports for Enterprise, do they have to be rebuilt from scratch using Crystal Reports 2020 to ensure functionality when BI2025 is released?

It is possible to convert from SAP Crystal Reports 2020 (format) into SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise (format).
It is not possible to convert back form SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise (format) into SAP Crystal Reports 2020 (format).

Hi Chuck_Lewis, here's a kbase that deals with conversion from Ent to classic. The work to do so will largely depend on the underlying connectivity of your reports. You'll probably want to back up your repository before doing so as well.
