How to convert Chinese, Taiwan characters to English using SAP Data Services

We are retrieving data from the SAP table LFA1 in S4 HANA and transferring it to an SQL database. The data in the LFA1 table is in Chinese, specifically in the Taiwan language.

How can we convert this data to English using BODS? Kindly provide assistance in ensuring the successful loading of Chinese, Taiwan data into English

Hi,

SAP Data Services is not capable of any language translation by default.

The data services applications only helps to migrate the data in character form i.e from original language to original language character.

There is no translation functionality provided by SAP Data Services application, although you can create custom scripts with python, user defined transforms etc. Customization comes under consulting and Product support doesn't deliver consulting solutions. You can contact your SAP Account Manager to get more information on how to get consulting.
