Geo Maps Linking

I have a file File- A from where I am getting the long and lat for Geo Maps and SAC is picking this fine.

Now I want to fetch a Measure from File-B. File-A and File-B have been linked by a common dimension.

In the Designer tab for the Geo Map, I have File-A that is showing the lat and long for location and the map has come up on the screen. However I am unable to find a way to bring in the linked File B to the Designer Tab of a Geo Map.

Is this possible?

Unfortunately you wont be able to do that. You cannot add a model based on blended data to a geo map.

Alternatively while creating the model itself you can populate the latitude and longitude data during Data Wrangling phase by using the combine data option as shown below. Enrich the model which has more data points from a analysis perspective.

this is what i actually did! i fetched the lat/lon in the base file and uploaded and this solution works for now.. thanks...

Hi,

Blended data cannot be used in Geo Map. If you want to use different dataset value, combine then in model level using Combine data option.
