Hi, I'm Gonzalo, and I have a trial version for 30 days in SAP Analytics Cloud.
When I try to import data, it stays in a "loading" state for a long time.
Then it returns an error ".xlsx has failed to upload because the data acquisition service encountered an internal error.
Correlation ID: 88354746-2123-4784-9512-147897013310 error.png
How can I do to solve it?
This sort of error is normally due to a transient issue with a backend service and should normally be resolved without any specific action on your part.
Can you test again in a few hours to see if the issue is still occurring?
Also, have you been able to import data previously or is this the first time you attempt to do so?
Regards,
Peter

Hello Gonzalo,
We are currently experiencing a dysfunction in the free trial version of SAP Analytics Cloud, with the file upload functionality, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you.
As you probably know, the trial version of SAP Analytics Cloud is limited in time and functionality, as its first purpose is to allow you to check its value. This trial version is not suitable for advanced testing or for creating analyses that can be used in the enterprise.
If your need is to learn SAP Analytics Cloud, I recommend requesting a guided SAC experience at https://www.sap.com/products/technology-platform/cloud-analytics.html
If your need is to work with enterprise data, since you is already an SAP Analytics Cloud customer, you should contact your IT department in charge of SAP solutions and ask them to grant you access to their SAP Analytics Cloud Tenant.
In case your company is already an SAP customer, and you need to work with enterprise data, you should contact your IT department in charge of SAP solutions and ask them to grant you access to their SAP Analytics Cloud Test Tenant that they certainly have already.
If your company is a partner of SAP, you should contact the department in charge of SAP solutions and ask them to grant you access to the SAP Analytics Cloud Tenant for testing and demo that they probably already have.
Best regards,
Antoine Chabert (SAC Product Management)

Hi peter.kreutlein what is the best route to tackle this problem? Should Uwe & Gonzalo create support tickets with SAP (if possible for them)? Best regards Antoine

Hi Antoine,
as I already mentioned in the other blog (related to predictive), I tried to contact support via a phone number on the web page, where I ended up in a central call center of SAP dealing woth a lot of topics but not specifically with SAC uploads. After several tries I was directed to call a specific number in Walldorf to with various topicsSAP support obviously doe exactly nothing about this. I have been re-via several channels (phine, web form, e-mail) and ended up with exaclty - NOTHING.
So I'm still in the state that uploads are not functioning. Nevertheless I get a series of SAP mails on how to proceed with my SAC trial step-by-step but completely ignoring the failure in the first step.
Obviously there is no one in charge of these problems or no process dealing with this.
br, WM
Good morning at all,
I am facing the same problem. I try to import data since Tuesday this week, but the import does not succeed - with the same error than Gonzalo reported above. It is also the first time, that I try to import data to the SAC Trial.
It does not make a difference if I use the datasets-tab, the modeler-tab, or the story tab to use the import function. Only thing I can see, that it stops at "28%", when using the story-tab.
Nevertheless, waiting and re-trying the import is nit the solution, as the error occurs for several days now.
I also tried the upload from different machines in different networks - this seems to be a server related issue.
As I am heading for doing the certification by the end of this month, it is very annoying that I cannot use the tool in order of an appropriate way of learning so far.
As I originally thought it might be a file issue on my site, I talked to antoine.chabert in another blog here and tried to import a file that he recommended from his github.

Unfortuantely, with the same result.
Can you please check the trial tenant again? Just one last thought: Maybe it has something to do with the trial-accounts that have recently been created this week,
Thank you very much in advance for your support. Time is ticking.....
Regards,
Uwe
