Error "Resource not found for the segment 'mergeId'" in SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Public Edition

Hello, 

I am working on SAP S4 HANA Cloud Public Edition version 2402, and I am reaching you for help regarding an error that is displayed when I try to access Fiori application "Manage launchpad spaces".

The error text: "Resource not found for the segment 'mergeId'"

I checked first if this is related to an authorization issue, but this is not the case because both business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_UI_FLD" and business role "SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR" are assigned to my user. Also, I can successfully open fiori application "Manage Launchpad pages" (which requires the same "authorizations" as the fiori app "Manage Launchpad spaces") 

  • Thus, since I can successfully access fiori application "Manage Launchpad pages" but not able to call "Manage Launchpad spaces", I do not think this is an authorization issue.

I called fiori application "Odata Error log" and I see the following details:

  • Error: "Resource not found for the segment 'mergeId'
  • Service name: FDM_SPACE_REPOSITORY_CUST_SRV
  • ABAP Component: CA-FLP-ABA
  • ABAP Package: /IWCOR/SODATA_CORE
  • Request URI: /sap/opu/odata/UI2/FDM_SPACE_REPOSITORY_CUST_SRV/$batch?sap-client=100

What can I do to correct the issue ?

Should I contact SAP since this is the cloud Public Edition and I have no access to the gateway?

Also the SAP Note "1797736" did not help

The appearance of the error message "Resource not found for the segment 'mergeId' " is due to the outdated metadata cache.

Addressing this issue requires intervention from our SAP Support Team to check the system and implement the necessary fixes.

Therefore, we recommend opening a new ticket with the SAP Support Team to initiate the resolution process. They will be able to assist you promptly and efficiently.
