Dynamic header cell coloring - SAP Analytics Cloud

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to dynamically update the color of the header row cells based on the period we are refreshing for. We have a table which shows all 12 periods in a year and if we refresh the dashboard for P4 we show actuals till P4 and forecast for the rest of the months.

We are trying to update the background of months with actuals to one color and the background of months with forecast to a different color. Can we do this in SAC analytic application?

Well the prescribed was is to use a planning model with versions - Actual, Budget, Forecast etc and allow SAC to do that for you automatically. Setting the 'Version' as the colour dimension will display your content using IBCS Notation to give you the desired results.

Alternatively you can use scripting in the latest Optimised Development Environment to individually colour the bars based on any logic you choose. I'm not sure however that you do this using just drag / drop interface of SAC in any other way.
