Differences in Registering Standard App References between Design Studio and Launchpad App Manager

Hi Launchpad experts,

In Fiori Launchpad, using Design Studio, it was possible to reference standard catalogs in custom technical catalogs. In this case, changes to the tiles in the standard catalog were automatically reflected in the tiles of the custom catalog.

In the Launchpad App Manager, I can copy App Descriptor Items from standard catalogs. However, the copied Items have different App Descriptor Item IDs from the original Items. Does this mean that changes to the tiles in the standard catalog will not be reflected in the copied custom catalog's tiles?

In the past, using Design Studio, it was possible to include all the apps (both standard and custom ones) used in a system in a single technical catalog, and refer to this technical catalog to create business catalogs.

With the Launchpad App Manager, if I want to register references to standard apps in a business catalog, do I need to refer to individual standard technical catalogs?
