Design Studio Data Source Options

Is there a way or hack to connect Design Studio directly to an orcale or SQL database and use it as a data source in our application?

Hi Alok,

Given that you ultimately have to publish your application on the SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform anyway, is there a reason why you are not creating a Universe over the mentioned databases?
