datasphere intelligent lookup - error: No deployed version available

Hi there,

in SAP Datasphere I created an intelligent lookup with two tables

  • input: local table (Big Rock List)
  • lookup: remote table (Accounting General Data in Customer Master), data is replicated
  • rule: exact match with names, no case sensitivity deselected

After deployment I run the lookup and get an error: No deployed version available

But for sure, both tables are deployed.

Any idea, what is wrong?

I encountered the same, with different tables though, even for those previously without such error. Would it be caused by Datasphere update?

@morhardcThanks for the update. It's so really a bug. It's good to hear that it will be fixed in wave 2024.07 on March 26, 2024.

Have same issue (error and some matching casses) when try to reproduce example of Intelligent Lookup from SAP blog.
Initially both sources are views based on remote tables. When I had changed both sources to local tables (incl. loading data from remote to local via data flow) - everything OK. But when I use views created on top of the local tables - I get that error again.

Hi @morhardc,

Probably Accounting General Data in Customer Master or the other input one has not deployed yet! You may check and deploy again.

Hi @TuncayKaraca, thank you for swift reply. But this I checked first and for sure, both tables are properly deployed.

@morhardcThen maybe --I think that's the case-- some other dependent objects of these two inputs are not deployed yet!  Check out from top to down all dependencies! All objects should be in deployed status in SAP Datasphere.

@TuncaayKaraca, since I used tables, there is no dependency. And the tables are the origin and so the very first step in respective chain.

@morhardc, Even the tables are supposed to be deployed? Aren't they? Are they remote tables?

@TuncayKaraca, as stated above, one table is remote table with replicated data, one is local table, both properly deployed. BR Christian
