Currency Coversion shows no errors but still doesn't return values

I attempted to create a currency conversion in my model with having my segments as my Org dimensions. I also attempted to create a Org dimension called currency and called the currency into that but when I call the model into my story it runs perfectly fine. Although, the values do not seem to change at all. The value for USD remains the same as EUR or AED.

The org dimension consists of a segment column alongside a currency column which consists of the value USD as default for all the values.

ahfadooPlease check the measure or Account being used in the below table has currency and unit set to currency. Also currency conversion does not require a currency dimension and it works of currency attribute of organization type dimension which is segment in your case.

Hi Nikhil, when I set my measure in the account dimension to currency I get this error: The currency conversion failed. Please provide missing rates for all needed rate types and categories in the rate table 'SAP_ALL_CURRENCY'.

And based off of my currency conversion table I should have all the required rates.

In the error it will also give an option to maintain the rates, just click on that and it will take you the currency table with required entries. Just click save after that.

Hey Nikhil I did that but it resulted in all the values of my currency table to be removed and replaced with EUR to USD with exchange rates that I had to fill in. Is this correct?

It depends but you can add other rates also along with the missing one. The source currency is taken from the segment which has the data and target currency will be something you want to convert to.
