Hi community,
In my account dimension, I have values in currencies, and others in Percentage, Headcount and Pieces.
I am using one Measure (Unit Type Currency, from Country-Dimension), and one converted Measure, that converts the data to EUR.
And now I have two problems:
1. Percentual values
In the Account, I have selected "Percent" in the Scale-Column. In the Story, this value is displayed correctly for the non-converted measure, but it is converted in the converted measure. Although is should not be converted.
2. Headcount / Pieces
In this case, I dont have the opportunity to select something like Headcount or Pieces. And the values are displayed in currencies. Additionally, the problem from point 1 applies as well.
Does anybody have a solution for this (maybe besides using several measures)?
Please let me know if you need more explanations or screenshots.
Kind regards,
Eric
What is the Account type for the Non Financial accounts like Headcount , pieces etc. It should be NFIN. Additionally for these statistical non fin accounts the Unit and Currency attribute should be set to blank or appropriate units. For financial accounts it should be set to currency. If you configure this, then all accounts where Units and currency are not set to Currency will be not included in currency conversion. Additionally you should add a step in data Action to copy these non financial accounts like pieces /HC as is to converted measure so that these non financial numbers show up in report. Additionally for the formatting you need to decide formatting like scale should be derived from accounts or from measure in structure priority in model preference. By default it would be pointing to accounts. So if you use same accounts to show 2 different type of information by using different measures then formatting would be same for both.
