compatibility with vsphere 8

Hi,

Our sap systems are running on:
VMware vSphere vSphere Client Version 7.0.3.01100
We want to upgrade to vsphere 8. Is our SAP-System compatible to vsphere 8?
Note 1173954 says that VMware vSphere 6.0 and higher is supported. But since the note is from 2019 I'd like to be sure concerning vsphere 8.

Actual SAP-Version is:

SAP NETWEAVER 7.5
EHP8 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 EHP8
Oracle 19
Windows 2019

Hi,

The SAP note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1173954 contains the actual information but I get on touch with the respective owner to get this updated as much as possible.

According to SAP note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1122387 , the Vsphere 8 is supported for SAP.

Please get in touch with VMWare's support to get a confirmation about the support state for Oracle. Just as I mentioned, the SAP note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1173954 will be updated if there is anything new to update. Although we can not estimate when this happens.

Hi,

I just got the confirmation that the SAP note 1173954 will be updated with the latest support information next week.

And yes, vsphere 8 is supported for Oracle.
