Hello,
I have used Comma(,) for digit separator and Dot(.) for decimal point in SAC,
then a value is displayed such as 123,456.00 in SAC.
Once it is exported to Excel, it is displayed as 123456.00, means Comma is not displayed in Excel.
Expected Behavior:
I want to have the Comma is displayed in Excel, as well.
I have the following Settings.
[Profile Settings in SAC]
-Language: English
(Even though it was changed into Japanese, the situation was the same)
-Data Access Language: Default
-Number Formatting: 1,234.56
[Settings in Excel]
-File > Options > Advanced >Check "Use system separators"
-File > Options > Language: Office display language / Office authoring languages and proofing : Japanese
[Settings in PC > Control Panel > Region]
-Tab "Formats" > Format : Japanese
Additional settings > Numbers > Decimal symbol : . (Dot)
Digit grouping symbol : , (Comma)
List separator: , (Comma)
Additional settings > Currency > Decimal symbol : .(Dot)
Digit grouping symbol : , (Comma)
-Tab "Administrative" > Copy settings > Display language, Input language, Format : Japanese
Location : Japan
-Tab "Administrative" > Change system locale > Current System locale : Japan
It would be really appreciated it if you let me know how I can get Comma displayed in Excel.
Thank you so much for your support in advance.
The separator depends on your PC locale settings as defined in control panel. On a PC, in the Control Panel, go to Clock, Language, and Region Region Additional Settings and verify the separator formats.
Refer to the page below under consideration and Notes for Exports.
Hope this helps !!

According to the link you mentioned,
> the number formats are the same for the model and your local machine. For example, if the data you want to export uses a comma as a decimal >separator and a period as a thousands separator (123.456,78), you will need to verify that your machine's number format is the same.
>On a PC, in the Control Panel, go to Clock, Language, and Region Region Additional Settings and verify the separator formats.
As far as I have checked, I have the same number formats between SAC and my PC,
however, still comma for digit separator is still missing in Excel after exported from SAC.
