Hi Guys,
We got an error(GetSapAssertion) in running SAP AO report from Fiori. Apart from the AOPlugin log, we want to see the log on SAP BO side. But, we have no authorization to access to the OS level of the BO system.
These are my questions.
1 Is it possible to view the server logs(in the logging folder) in CMC?
2 Do you think we should check the Web-Tier log(tomcat) and SAP S4 logs as well because we doubt it may be caused by SSO (SAP bugs)?
3 Do you think we should take trace(on the connectivity, core or analysis server if it is the SSO issue) and get the detailed information?
Thanks
Steven
If you do not have access to OS of the BOE system, you can't properly troubleshoot the issues you have.
1. No, the logging directory is not accessible thru CMC
2. It depends on the workflow in question.
3 Usually yes, you should, but again, it depends on the exact workflow that breaks and the error.
I'd suggest doing end to end trace as per KBA 1861180, however, you need to have access to BOE server to collect the logs.

It would be good to have the screen shot of error along with the actual error to troubleshoot further this issue.
