Hi experts

Could you tell me how to resolve this error?

When I uploaded Location Product Master in SAP IBP with data integration, All records were canceled because of the error "Input data contains invalid or reserved characters in attribute ."(Rejection Code = 60)

What's reserved characters in attribute? or Do you know how to resolve this error?

I attempted the screenshot about the error/

best regards

Hi,

Special characters encompass a variety of symbols, including punctuation marks, mathematical symbols, and other non-alphabetic characters. These characters often have specific functions or meanings in programming languages, markup languages, and systems. For example, the @ symbol is commonly used in email addresses, the # symbol denotes comments in some programming languages, and the $ symbol may indicate variables or currency.

Whereas Reserved characters are specific special characters that hold reserved meanings within particular contexts. These contexts can vary widely, such as in file names, URLs, command syntax, or data formats.

For instance, in a URL, the reserved character "/" is used to separate different parts of the address, while "?" is used to indicate query parameters. In a file name, characters like "/", "", "*", "?", ":", and "|" are reserved and cannot be used as part of the file name itself because they have special meanings in file systems.

Please check your file to see if any of these characters are present and try to remove them before re-uploading it.

If you are using CI DS to load data into IBP, please refer to SAP Note 2007254.
