Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud – 2016 Edition has come to a close with over 30,000 participants enrolled (50% more than in 2015) and over 6,000 challenge submissions (200% more than 2015)!

Since the 2015 edition of Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud, there have been many updates and new features introduced, such as SAP Splash and Build, SAP Fiori 2.0, SAP S/4HANA, and more. Learners enjoyed creating delightful experiences for end users, even for non-designer project teams. The course featured two challenges: Design and Develop.

Today, we’re happy to announce the top apps. The top three creators will receive an Apple iPad Pro and the top 3 apps by an SAP Partner employee will receive US$1,500 in Market Development Funds (s-user login required).

We are delighted to announce this year’s winners as follows:

Best apps and winners of the
Apple iPad Pro
Best apps from an SAP Partner and
winners of the Market Development Funds
Matthew DionJacob Tan (Blue Ocean Systems Pte Ltd)
Jacob TanGrzegorz Owczarek (Gavdi Poland)
Pius KirrmannStefano Scalcinati (Stampa & Partners AG)

Congratulations to all of our winners! A special mention to Jacob Tan as he wins in both categories and he also won the challenge in last year’s course. It seems that both our peers and experts think he’s definitely on the right track with his UX designs and apps!

Kind regards,

Thank you openSAP for the wonderful journey. 

I had so much fun developing Fiori Apps and I'm just amazed by the efforts from the whole ecosystem of the Fiori team has made it so far with their capability offerings -- Fiori 2.0, SAP Splash & Build, etc. The opportunity to work further with our fellow peers during the two phases have made it even more interactive with our peers, being given the feedback even way before development. Kudos to all my course peers.

And also not forgetting the wonderful openSAP Team (Bob Caswell, Yoram Friedman, Katrin Elk, Virgil Suteu, Oliver Graeff, Raz Korn, Ido Shemesh, and Daniel Reger) who have never ceased to reply all our queries & make this course such a wonderful journey (I'm sure my peers will agree to this).

Last but not least, thank you claire.donelon for this wonderful post to mark this milestone for all of us.

Looking forward to more interactive courses with my peers in openSAP.

Good luck and all the best in your future endeavors!

Congratulations!! to all the winners and 220 course participants who made into best category list. Best wishes for future successes.

For me, it was nice to make into top 5% of this course.Overall it was wonderful learning experience for beginners like us who is about to embark the journey of SAP HANA and UX. This course (along with other course S/4 HANA) gave us a excellent start in that direction.

Really appreciate the wonderful work done by OpenSAP team in putting together these courses helping partners, customers, professionals, developers to learn and make best use of SAP products. Looking forward for more courses. Happy learning!!
