Hi,
currently I am looking for the difference of SAP S4HANA EPPM onPrem and SAP EPPM in public cloud.
As I understood so far, EPPM onPrem is a term for all project related modules in SAP, but when I check EPPM for the public cloud, I come directly to the scope items.
So what is the difference between Cloud and onPrem? What is included in the Cloud EPPM? Can somebody help me with that question or give me a link where I can find further information?
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards, Richard
You can always check help.sap.com
Public Cloud:
On-Prem/Private Cloud:
In S/4HANA On-Prem/Private Cloud EPPM covers PS, PPM, and CPM. PS is included in the S/4HANA license.
In S/4HANA Public Cloud EPPM projects refer to capex and revenue generating projects. There are also Customer Projects for the Professional Services solution. At this time Public Cloud does not have project scheduling (no networks) or portfolio management (PPM). Please refer to the SAP Roadmap for the upcoming enhancments.

It's best to research help.sap.com to see specific differences.
The S/4HANA On-Prem version and S/4HANA Private Cloud version are basically the same. There are some new Fiori Apps in S/4HANA over what's in ECC but the functionality is pretty close.
