Difference between Investment Mangement (IM) and Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM)

Hi Experts,

Can you help me to understand the difference between Investment Mangement (IM) and Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM). In hierarchy wise both have same kind of structure i.e. IM- Program type, Structure, Planning etc. Same way EPPM also have Portfolio, Portfolio structure, Planning so on.

Please help me on Pros and Cons of both of this module. Can i choose EPPM instead of IM? or my thinking is not valid. Please give some light on this

EPPM is the license that covers both PPM and CPM.  PPM is a more modern total replacement for Investment Management.  The Portfolio takes the place of the Investment Structure.  The Portfolio Item takes the place of a Appropriation Request.  PPM is more capable for analyzing project requests.  IM is being maintained but hasn't been upgraded in some time.
