Inspection Results Recording issue in Discrete Industry ( WC PODs )

Hi experts,

I have completed the setup for Inspection result recording for my 2 plants - one for each discrete and process industry's orders. In the process industry Order POD for the same plugin setup ( QI character list -> QI results ) I'm getting the submit button on the QI character list plugin - 

But with the same setup in the Discrete industry Workcenter POD I'm not getting any submit button in the QI character list plugin -

Why this matters: We are following the sequence of first submitting the QI results and then completing the phase/operation. If it's done the other way around we get errors in Yeild confirmation for that specific phase/operation with the message "no inspection result found". Therefore as we do in process industry Order PODs - inspection result submission -> phase complete, similarly we want to submit results in Discrete industry Workcenter POD and then complete the operation. But because we don't have the submit button on WC POD and neither I was able to configure it, I'm facing the following problem -

In workcenter pod, as there is no submit button, the QI result is also getting sent at the same time when the operation complete button is clicked. Due to this, Production Order Yeild Confirmation is happening before the Inspection result recording, resulting in its failure.

Question: Is there a way to enable QI result submission in WC POD separately from the operation complete button? If not, is there a way to do QI result recording before the Yield confirmation happens when completing the operation? If not, please suggest a way to achieve QI result recording that doesn't end in error.

Any ideas and recommendations will be of great help.
