SPOT Award guidelines - Compensation

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a solution related to guidelines in SPOT award program.
Can we setup the spot award guidelines such that nominator is free to enter an amount which can be max up to one month's salary of the selected nominee.

Is it possible by using custom fields in additional criteria in the standard spot award program or do we need to go with MDF?

Hi Ravi,

I don't think you can do this with guidelines themselves where that value would be proposed. I know you can check the value of the award being granted as I've done that to have a different workflow trigger when an award is over a certain amount but I don't believe within that rule that you can check the employee's salary and likely not their monthly salary.

I'd need some time to investigate the rule options and see what fields are there but my assumption is that this isn't possible.

We are trying to do using additional criteria
Do we have any restrictions in guidelines rows?

e.g. if we want to use additional criteria as job code so as per country we will be having number of guideline rows around 1500 lines.

Do you see any issue in the same
