The SAP Enable Now Community has now been migrated to the new platform - and if you're like me you're probably a bit confused about where everything is and how it works. (Case in point: I thought I was creating a new Blog Post here but it tells me I'm creating a new Question.)
To start with, the old URL of https://community.sap.com/topics/enable-now?lng=en&tab=content still works (although now it's called a Topic Page), but now you only get the Content tab and not the Questions tab. Which is hugely inconvenient, as I'd invariably head straight to the Questions tab to see what needed answering. Clicking on the Create a Post button from the Topic Page creates a question - like this one - but it doesn't automatically default to a question within the SAP Enable Now Community - you now need to select an SAP Managed Tag of SAP Enable Now (or one of the other related ones - see below).
But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get to the 'list of SAP Enable Now related questions' we used to have. The main reason for this is that it seems as though the SAP Enable Now Community itself no longer exists. Instead, SAP Enable Now has been subsumed into the Human Capital Management community, which also contains a bunch of other things like SuccessFactors. So the Recent Activity section contains a whole slew of non-SEN posts. Which I honestly do not care about.
I can search in This category at the top of the HCM 'Community' for SAP Enable Now, which will do a full text search on any of those three words, which isn't great. Or I can search on an SAP Managed Tag, but there are separate tags for:
- SAP Enable Now
- SAP Enable Now, author option
- SAP Enable Now, cloud edition
- SAP Workforce Performance Builder, manager option
...and possibly others. And I haven't figured out a way to search on multiple tags. And then there are hundreds (if not thousands) of User Tags as well...
The closest I have found to the old Questions page is this link: https://community.sap.com/t5/ca-hcm/SAP+Enable+Now/pd-p/73554900100700001245 which at least gives a list of questions in the HCM community tagged with "SAP Enable Now" (assuming people use that tag on all SAP Enable Now related posts), so I guess that's what I'll bookmark (I don't know what the stuff on the back end of that URL is, but if I remove them it doesn't load).
Maybe they are still tweaking things, but in the meantime - and to make this an actual question - if anyone figures out a better way of getting there, please drop a reply.
