Random error message with the Learning Center

Hello,

We currently have a random error message when opening the Learning Center in the SAP Companion in FIORI.

Sometimes it works:

But frequently we got this error message:

This message occurs randomly between maybe at a frequency of one time out of 2 or 3...

What could be the reason of this message ?

Hi Emmanuel,

I have seen a similar issue with the Learning Center when it is displaying standard and customer-specific content, i.e. Extensibility Mode.  The issue with the other customer was occurring in SF, not Fiori, but I suspect that they had a similar issue to you.

In the end, support informed the other customer that if they wanted to use Extensibility Mode that they had to point SAP Companion to an Extended WA, containing both the standard and customer-specific content.

My question to use is, have you configured SAP Companion to point to an Extended WA in Manager that contains the standard content and your customer-specific content or is the standard content coming from an SAP content server?  If it is the later, you could test if the error is removed by pointing SAP Companion to an Extended WA.  Alternatively, raise a support ticket using the Component ID KM-SEN-CMP and see what other options support recommends.

Good news, the error message seems to have disappeared.

Yes, we use an extended WA in the manager for providing the standard content.

I don't know how SEN is currently configured on FIORI side; I will check.

If I understand you, there could have been a "conflict" because of a duplicate between some standard content coming from the SAP content server and the extent content coming from our Workarea?

Is it possible to configure the Learning Center with several sources of content, and if yes, is it preferable to configure a unique source?
