Several depreciation areas in SAP RE-FX

We have SAP RE-FX implemented for some time with AA Integration however we realized that due to some governmental allowances/subventions we need to have more depreciation areas being created upon the creation of the Asset directly through RE-FX.

Is there any way to have several depreciation areas per ledger?

I have customized OAYZ but each time I try to create an asset in RE-FX it says that the deprecation areas does not exist.

Hi Joao,

Are you using Asset Integration for IFRS16 Valuation?

REFX has nothing to do with Asset Accounting Dep. Area, all configurations are to be done in FI-AA.

First try to create Asset manually in AS01, using the same Asset Class & see, if error is there as well. Then you will have more clarity on error.

Hi Hitesh,

If I create the asset outside RE it works, it accepts all customizing done in OAYZ.

The other depreciation areas are derived by adding an investment measure.

However if I try to create the asset through RE it always gives me an error saying that those specific depreciation areas do no exist.

So I think this has something to do with RE customizing itself. That's why I have open this question.
