Subsequent Material ledger multi valuation activation for SFIN

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking into the possibility of activating the ML multi valuation fonctionnality on a productive SFIN system and looking into the SAP notes I'm a bit confused as 2 notes seem to contradict themselves:

Note 2882025 - "Multiple valuation approaches/transfer prices in SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition" stating

"!!! Caution: The subsequent implementation of multiple valuation approaches in a productive system—that is, a system with existing transaction data—is currently not yet supported. Similarly, the implementation of multiple valuation approaches during the SAP S/4HANA migration is currently impossible (meaning the enhancement of Customizing with regard to parallel valuations in the Customizing migration steps)! This is independent of the role of the client. This statement also applies for an SFIN system in which the table ACDOCA is already used (SFIN 720 and SFIN 730). "

On the other hand the note 120380 - "Subsequent activation of multiple valuation approaches/transfer prices in SAP ERP" that explains how to do this, is said to be relevant for ERP systems as well as SFIN systems

Can anyone help me out here to know wether it is or it is not possible to subsequently activate ML multiple valuation on a SFIN system ?
