Since about two days we get the following error "ReferenceError: chalk is not defined" when trying to deploy Asset Manager 2310 app from Visual Studio Code on to Mobile Services. We haven't been able to resolve it. How can this be resolved?

Are you doing a deploy or build in VSCode?  Have you setup the MDK SDK locally for client builds?

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your quick response. We are executing a deploy ("MDK: Deploy" over Application.app file).

Best regards,
Gonzalo.

Yes. We have installed all the dependencies for Android and we have been building, creating the debug apk locally and deploying to MS for some months now without a problem.

One suggesiton would be to downgrade to 1.27.0 version of the MDK extension and see if that makes any difference

Thank you very much Bill, that was it. With the auto update option we weren't aware

We have the same issue occuring in Business Application Studio, and I believe it is not possible there to downgrade the MDK extension version manually. Any advice?
