SAP B1 HANA USING INTERNET

Hello everyone,

I'm currently setting up a VPS with SAP HANA and SAP Business One components. Both components have public IP addresses assigned to them, and I have opened ports 40000, 40020, and 30000 for SAP B1, and ports 30015 and 30013 for the HANA server. However, when I try to connect to the SAP B1 client, I encounter an error stating "database lost." Could you please advise on which ports should be open for public access?

Additional ports required for connection are 50000 (for Service Layer) and 4300 (App Framework/xsengine).

You may still get errors due to network latency on public network as well as exposing directly through public internet impose security risks.

Standard recommendation is to maintain network latency of <1ms between client and server.

If you wish to access the services over the internet, you may use the option External Mapping for specific components.
