Integration Testing in SAP Activate

I see in the 'Key Testing Activities in Activate Phases' slide that for each sprint there is a Unit/String Test, a Business Process Test, and a User Acceptance Test. Which of these is most like the System Integration Test (SIT) of the Waterfall 'V Model' for testing? Are the 'User Acceptance Tests' in Activate more like an Agile demo? Thanks.

I would suggest the need for Integration test is more dependent on the scope of the implementation than on whether the customer wants to do it or not. SAP implementations typically include a lot of integrations to non-SAP systems. Unless planned in a certain way, most projects do not do enough on integration during the sprints. As public cloud implementations become more prevalent, you will see a reduced need for integration test. In addition, the UAT during the sprint is usually from the product owner or perhaps some select superusers. Most projects will still do a more formal UAT with an extended user set after all other testing is complete. My recommendation is that the final UAT is very focused on day-in-the-life testing that proves they can do their job.
