Custom Code Migration Project App has Project State Corrupt

We are in the early stage of upgrading our S/4HANA 1909 to S/4HANA 2023. Our development system (1909), DV1, is configured as ATC checks using object providers. Then we created our Test system (1909) TS1 as an RFC Object Provider in the ATC menu.

From the Custom Code Migration app, we created a new project to scope and analyze with destination TS1 and target release SAP S/4HANA 2023. We have collected 3 days of usage data from TS1 which we used in the app.

However, we encountered error Check 'CL_CI_CDS_JOIN_ANALYSIS is not remote RFC-based.

Please kindly provide any tip and guidance at this point on how to proceed.

Hi Elaine,

In your central check system, the check variant S4HANA_READINESS_2023 seems to contains the check "Join Analysis of CDS views" (check class CL_CI_CDS_JOIN_ANALYSIS). Since the check "Join Analysis of CDS views" is not remote enabled. You get the above mentioned error.

Usually, this check is not part of this check variant S4HANA_READINESS_2023. Therefore, maybe, you want to check whether my assumption is correct and remove it (and other non-remote enabled checks) from the variant.

If my assumption is wrong, I suggest to raise a customer incident to clarify the issue in your system.
