Hi. I'm trying to create an 'alert' when creating or updating some documents if there's some conditions. The logic works if I applied it to as a Transaction Notification, but since I don't want to block that document because of it, I found about Question regarding SBO_SP_PostTransactionNotice.
Now the problem is, since the 'error' is sent after the creation/updating, the user never sees any message about the issue. Where are those 'errors' stored to be found?
Thanks.
Hi supeindesu,
Error messages of SBO_SP_Post_TransactionNotice would not pop up in SAP Business One UI. It is logged in SAP Business One log file instead.
Once the document is added, close SAP Business One Client.
Open SAP Business One Log file which will capture any error/warning returned from SBO_SP_Post_TransactionNotice.
The log file can be found at the following location: C:\ProgramData\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\SAP Business One\USERPROFILE\BusinessOne. File name will be something like this: Client.b1logger.20200609_141351.pid9788.log.csv. Refer to the attached image files for the same.
