The easiest way to find this out is by testing in your QAS system 🙂

Anyways, this topic has been covered in detail in 1093582 - FAQ: Delivery complete indicator ELIKZ.

Former Member are you a business user or a consultant?

In the first case - test with MIGO and MIRO for this order item to figure out how this works.

In the second case - find a colleague who has access to the support portal or ask your team lead for the right process to obtain one. It is next to impossible to do your job without haveing access to SAP notes.

Yes, I have done GR and posted Invoice for the PO created by selecting Delivery Completed check box and was successfully posted both the documents. In GR -> Under Purchase Order Data tab -> Have seen that "Delivery Completed Indicator" check box is selected automatically.

Now I understood that if the"delivery complete" indicator specified, the purchase orders item is considered as closed and no more goods receipts are EXPECTED for these items.

But am able to POST GR and MIRO. Please guide me.

Devaraj Damodharan yes, this is the correct behavior, even if you set delivery completed indicator on the PO you can still post a goods receipt.

This is mentioned in the note as well "Although a further delivery is not expected, it is still possible."

Another consequence of setting delivery completed is that you can delete the item even if you did not receive the whole quantity. This checkbox is particularly useful when you have old purchase orders for which you do not expect any further deliveries from the vendor.
