Production scheduling profile - Date of manufacturing not filled in on batch

HI Experts,

For my customer I am trying to generate the date of manufacturing field upon goods receipt of the production order.

Therefore configuration below is maintained.

However when i post the goods receipt, the manufacturing field is not filled in in the batch. Any idea what I am missing? The field just remains empty. The batch itself is automatically created together with the classification.

If I enter the shelf life date in the material master, then the manufacturing date is filled in. However this is not the required solution as this also always fills in the expiry date. Which we don't want.

Hi,

Are you using the Order confirmation(CO11N) with automatic GR option or MIGO? It seems this option works with confirmation.
