Planned order created via MRP run even though sales order delivered in 2018 and 2019

I see the Planned orders created via MRP run on April 12, 2024, for FERT material even though the Sales orders were fully delivered in 2018 and 2019.

FERT material strategy group in MRP 3 set up as ZY = 82, Lot size is EX, Availability set up as KP

Can someone please help me understand why the planned order was created for the sales order delivered fully long back?

Try running correction program SDRQCR21 (Note 25444).

This is probably a database inconsistency. If you are running ECC, then the report previously mentioned should be executed to clear the inconsistent records. If you are using S/4HANA, then you should use report ATP_VBBE_CONSISTENCY. 

This kind of issue is generally caused by custom code implemented in the sales order user-exits, so please review your custom code to make sure that it won't happen in the future.
