New Tax Calculation Procedure Creation in S4HANA Public Cloud

Hello SAP Experts,

Background of the Question:

In SAP ECC, it is possible to create a New Tax Calculation Procedure as a 1st Step. And as a 2nd Step it can be assigned to a respective country.

IMG path: SPRO → SAP Reference IMG → Financial Accounting → Financial Accounting Global Settings → Tax on Sales/Purchases → Basic Settings → Check Calculation Procedure (Transaction Code: OBYZ)

Reason: Currently our customer (European Company) has with multiple tax registrations across Europe in different plant and storage locations (Plant abroad scenario).

So, they created and are using “TAXEUR as Tax Calculation Procedure” in SAP ECC and assigned it to different European countries in SAP ECC. They would like to continue using the same “TAXEUR as Tax Calculation Procedure” in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud also.

Please find the attached images for reference.

QUESTION:

I can only view SSCUI-101721-Assign Country-Region to Calculation Procedure, which can be used in assigning the Standard Tax Calculation Procedures to a respective country provided by SAP(As a 2nd Step).

To match the above requirement, is it possible to create a New Tax Calculation Procedure in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud?

If yes, I cannot find an SSCUI which can be used to create a New Tax Calculation Procedure in CBC system (As a 1st Step). Please guide me in identifying the same.

Please find the attached images and documents for reference.

Thank You

Best Regards.

Hello,

the creation of a new tax calculation procedure is currently not possible in S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition. However, I suggest to review the "Registration for Indirect Taxation Abroad" functionality, which might address your requirement. Please take a look at the following blog which provides a first overview of this topic:

Hope this helps,
