New Document type creation : any codification recommandation/Best practices?

Hi!

I would like to know if there is any best practices/SAP recommandation to codify new accounting document types?

Should we codify them starting by Z*?

As we are planning to roll out new countries and I know that for some localizations (Spain, Italy, etc.), SAP provides new document types to be compliant with the local legal requirements...

Could you please confirm?

Hi altaz,

SAP does not have a specific recommendation to codify custom document types. Usually, in the projects, the letter "Z" is used in the beginning to differentiate the custom from the standard.

The SSCUI "101522 - Define Document Types" is the configuration step to create it.

Copy an existing document to ensure you do not miss any standard configuration.
