Multiple materials planning combine in one MRP

Hello,

We have materials sourced from multiple suppliers. For example, material is rubber band and we have 3 different supplier. And we have 3 different material code for each supplier. Materials are same. Only difference is the supplier.

Due to our company policy, we cannot combine the codes, it must be seperate.

Material A - Main Supplier and Main Code - 3000 pieces in stock

Material B - Alternative supplier - 2000 pieces in stock

Material C - Alternative supplier - 1000 pieces in stock

And how can i manage all 3 in one MD04 screen? I want to plan according to total stock. I will enter MD61 VSF according to our needs and total stock must be 6000 pieces and MRP have to run according to 6000 stock. And also MRP has to check open orders from alternative suppliers.

Why don't you use Form-Fit-Function Class (FFF Class)?

Thank you for your reply. I researched FFF and is there another way? I need some authorization for FFF but getting authorization of tcode's are very hard in my company. I dont even have MM autho, if i wanted to change some safety stocks for exp, i have to enter another system called MDG. 😞
