LOG_MM_SIT (Cross company Stock in Transit) – Partial Good reception with movement 109

Dear all,

We are working in stock transfer scenario with transfer of title at good issue (schedule line category N1, Delivery type NCCR)

Everything works fine, but we have some doubts about partial Good reception with 109 movement.

Example:

• PO Item quantity: 5

• Outbound delivery quantity: 5

• Post good issues in shipment plant: 5 (mov 683 – 107)

• Good Receipt in destination plant: 3 (mov 109)

This flow causes that 2 units still in blocked stock in transit.

what’s the process to return the blocked stock in transit to issuing plant?

As always with STOs, you can only remove the in-transit stock by either receiving it or cancelling the goods issue. You should avoid partial receipts as a general rule for stock transfers.

Receive the rest and then return it, or cancel the receipt followed by cancellation of goods issue then create a new correct goods issue.
