Issues in year-end closing of fixed assets - error closing fiscal year 2021 in AA

Hello, everyone,

We have found that the 2021 fiscal year is not yet closed in asset accounting for a company code.

We wanted to do that now, but we get error messages that depreciation was not posted.

The problem is that the year 2021 has already been accepted and certified by the auditors and they do not allow these depreciation postings because of their size.

We don't really know what to do now?

Does anyone of you have an idea how we can proceed now?

Hi Udo,

Check the assets that have unposted depreciation, see if there are master data changes since depreciation was last ran. Maybe you can revert them, and the planned values disappear, but there is no guarantee this will work.
