Is it possible to use Product Allocation only with S140 since it doesnt have material number ?

In the standard info structure S140, Material Number is not available as a characteristic. 

Is it mandatory to create a custom info structure in order to use the product allocation without advanced ATP?

I have already created a custom info structure and was able to execute but wanted to check with the community if standard info structure is enough or not.

The availability plan values we enter in MC93 doesnt have material as a criteria in S140.

Hello @priya_sshekhar 

If the characteristics delivered in S140 then you can use S140 directly in your product allocation implementation. Otherwise I'd advise to create a custom info structure and customize production allocation around that. I don't think changing S140 is a good idea.
