How to start the SAP B1 Addon development? SAP Business One

Hi team,

I want to start the development into SAP Business One SQL or HANA. Please suggest your inputs.

What is the pre-requesite for same? What I need to install in PC?

Hi Nikunj,

Please see the answers to this similar question.

Basically you need the following:

1. A B1 system.
2. A license for the SDK (look at my answer from the link above).
3. The SDK (is included in the B1 installation media).
4. skills in a coding language. Preferably .NET, like C# or VB.NET.
5. A code editor (MS Visual Studio is free, and probably the best choice).
6. A really good reason to build an addon (yourself). Most requirements can be achieved without coding, and most other addons have already been made by someone else and can be purchased.
7. If so, an analysis of your requirement, and a plan accordingly. There are different ways to implement automation, and you will have to think about which method will be best for your requirement.
