how to do GI in the Q stock from the upper lever WBS to lower level WBS?

Dears,

We received one material A in the Q stock for WBS P-001. We want to do GI to lower level WBS P-001-01 by MIGO 221 Q. We don't like to transfer the stock from WBS P-001 to WBS P-001-01. Is there any standard SAP solution? such as WBS grouping? Vincent Li

You need to transfer the material from one WBS stock segment to another with a 415Q movement type.

It's a transfer posting in MIGO.

If you don't want to post the transfer posting first then do the GI from the second WBS you will need to use Requirements Grouping. All of the requirements, GRs, and GIs will be through the Grouping WBS.
