How to create Person in HR?

HI HR Guru,

I know how to create Personnel no in HR by PA30.

There is another HR master called Person.

I don't know how to create Person in HR.

Please kindly help.

Hello Sally,

The person Id is a concept that is activated with concurrent employment and/or Global employment, via switches such as the ones below in table T77S0

CCURE PIDGN Generation Rule PERSONID
CCURE PIDSL Selection with PERSONID

So the way it works, is that once CE or GE is activated, you hire an employee which creates a personnel number (and a person id), then for any subsequent assignment for that particular employee a new personnel number will have to be created which will be linked under the same person ID.
