FP2402 New Installation

We are testing the installation of a new server:

WS2022+SQL 2019+Business One 10.0 FP2402+Crystal 2020 SP4

The installation was carried out without problems, no warnings, or errors.

When accessing the system services we have observed that the Job Service is not there. I am attaching the image "Services 10.0 FP2402.png" with the services installed.

Services in SOServices in SO

When accessing the SLD, the image "Control center.png" appears correctly attached.
The registered services appear correctly attached image "SLD.png"

When accessing the job service from the SL, this appears attached as "Job Service.png"

According to the product documentation, there should be a service as such in the operating system and the window that the SLD opens should be different.

Then 2 options are presented:
Does SAP not have something well documented or updated in the installation guides?
Is it installed correctly, is the workflow service the one that controls the alerts and the sending of alerts in this version?

This same problem has arisen in the migration from version 9.3 to 10.0 FP2208 carried out in production.
We think that it is a problem or circumstance derived from the migration and change of technology to 64 bits of services, etc., but the surprise is that in a new installation made from scratch, this is also the case.

Hi gonzalogomez

In SAP Business One version 10, there is no service with name "SAP Business One Job service backend". It is merged with server tools service.

If you can not see alerts, please refer to section 1 of SAP note  2419141.

For further help, please create incident using component SBO-BC-SLD.

Thank You.

Kind Regards

Hi gonzalogomez,

You have Job Service in SLD -> Services tab and Service Layer installed.

The alerts should work fine.

Can you mention which documentation are you referring which is causing the confusion? Please share the screenshot for the same.

Kind regards,

Hi gonzalogomez,

This is about the User, not the service.

In the pictures of the sap note 241941 the user for the job service is AlertSvc not workflow and in my last productive system (9.3) There was a specific service called job service ... Now in 10.0 there is no service and the user who sends the emails and company configuration becomes workflow

By the way, I take advantage of the post I have tried migrating a database from the productive system and it went well, but now I cannot access it due to the license. How could I make sure that the migrated database collects the license of the test system instead of that of the productive system?
