Hi Deepika.

1. Could you explain in details about the error message where you are geting this error message?

2. For the error message check this SAP note 2582112

Hello Deepika,

This message means that SAP tried to open a network connection, but the TCP layer of the operating system could not open it.

You can identify which component is logging that message, at the system log entry (e.g., IC for ICM, RD for Gateway, ...).

Go to the corresponding trace file (dev_icm, dev_rd, ...), locate the timestamp of the system log entry, and you should be able to identify what is the target system based on the entries in the trace file.

Then, confirm that the target system is up and operational. You might need to involve your network team, so they verify why the server where SAP is running cannot make that network connection.

Regards,

Isaías
