Eclipse ADT - What's happened to F2?

I have variable defined against a data element - TYPE ZCFX_DATA. It's a raw string defined in the data dictionary. F2 on the variable shows me the type (ZCFX_DATA). But when I click on the hyperlink on the type, I just get the structure's name and description - but not the underlying type.

I'm sure it used to.

So, F2 on /xiting/cfx_data. I was expecting something indicating that it's a rawstring.

seems to be a data element too me. What brings you to the assumption that it must be a structure?

Sorry, not a structure. It is a data element (correct in my question). It's just I'm sure that the underlying definition used to popup - i.e. that it's rawstring (in this case).

Edit 14th June 2023: Fixed with latest ADT release

Hi Matthew,

You are right, the underlying type with additional information used to show in the Element Info. This issue is a new bug that occurs on new ADT Releases paired with ABAP System Versions 7.52 and lower. It seems to affect Data Elements and Table Structures. We are working on resolving this issue.

It seems that the bug should be fixed with the latest ADT client. Please try to update your client.

The bug with the data element information is fixed, thank you. But table types are still not working as desired.

Backend is 7.52.
